My Child Care Philosophy
As a family child care provider, my goal is to provide a safe and happy place for children where they can learn and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially at their own pace. We believe children learn through play and benefit from a structured yet flexible schedule. Activities will be offered which stimulate sensory motor development, language development and social interaction. The development of a strong self-esteem is also a major goal. Children will be taught to respect each other, adults, and property. Because we are Christian based, the children will be taught Christian values. They will learn to say grace before meals and we will incorporate Bible stories and principals during everyday activities.
There are a few forms that must be completed and in our possession before we can assume the responsibility of caring for your child. There are no exceptions. You are required to keep us informed of any change in address, telephone numbers, and any other pertinent information on these forms as they arise, including notifying us of additional childhood immunizations. Any questions regarding the completion of the forms, please feel free to ask. A new set of forms must be filled out once a year with the new contract.
Holding A Space
If it is decided that your child(ren) will enroll in Ms. Terri’s Kid Care & Preschool, and you will not be placing your child(ren) with me until a later date, you must pay the first month's tuition, supply/curriculum fee and extended hours fees (if any) up front to hold your space. All fee rules apply. The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE if you decide (for any reason) that you will not be enrolling your child(ren). All paperwork is due at that time, as well. If those are NOT paid the spot will NOT be considered yours.
Open Door Policy
We maintain an open door policy. This means you are always welcome to call or drop in to see your child(ren) at any time during regular hours. It does not mean my door will always be unlocked. For children’s safety, we would not want unwanted or unexpected visitors to enter without our knowledge. We also do not want little ones leaving the house unsupervised. We would appreciate your taking into consideration our schedule when dropping in or calling, and remember that visitors (even parents) usually cause the children to react in an excited manner that does not normally occur when we are alone with them. Please understand that we are taking care of children and may not have time to sit and talk on the phone or in person. If you need to pick up your child during rest/nap time, please let us know in the morning so we can have your child waiting for you so the other children are not disturbed.
There is a two (2) week (14 calendar days) trial period beginning on your child's first day of care. During this time the childcare agreement can be terminated with 24 hours notice. After the trial period, a two (2) week written notice is required. Any and all pre-paid fees are non refundable.
Please send your child(ren) clean, well rested, dressed for the day and fed (if arriving after 8:30 am or 12:30 pm). It is normal for some children to have difficulty separating from parents in the morning or not wanting to leave when its time to go home. Please be very brief during these transition times. The longer you prolong the departure the more difficult it can get and we need to focus our attention on all the children. In our experience, children are almost always quick to get involved in play or activities as soon as parents are gone. This is also a time of testing when two different authority figures are present (the parent and the provider). Sometimes children will test to see if the rules still apply. During arrivals and departures, we ask that parents/guardians please back up our rules. If you do not, we will remind the child that their behavior is inappropriate and take action to correct them, if needed. You are responsible for your child during drop off/pickup times, please be in control of your child(ren). For their safety, children are not permitted to go out to their car or run out the door unattended at pick up times. We will only release your child(ren) to the parent/guardian or someone else you designate. If someone else is to pick up your child, please notify us ahead of time. We must have written permission to release your child whether or not they are on your contact list. Please inform emergency contacts, or people designated to pick up your child, that if we do not know them, we will need to see a photo ID. We will not let a child leave without a parents written permission.
Please Note: If there is a court order keeping one parent away from the child(ren), we must have a copy to put in the child's file. Otherwise, we cannot prevent the parent from picking up the child(ren).
Rates & Fees
Your specific rates will be outlined in your contract. Monthly tuition is due on the 1st of each month no later than 5:30 p.m. Supply/curriculum fees are due on the 15th of each month no later than 5:30 p.m.
If you are on the weekly childcare program, payment is due no later than 5:30 pm every week on FRIDAY BEFORE CARE. If this day falls on a holiday, start of vacation/extended leave or planned day off for the provider or parent, payment will still be due the Friday before. All other fees (late, overtime, etc) are due in the week they were made. Payments may be made by check, cash, or money orders and made payable to Terri Harr. You also have the option of paying with Zelle (ChasePay) and/or PayPal. Post-dated checks will not be accepted. We do not keep change on hand if you are paying with cash. Any overpayment will be credited to your account for the following week.

You must still pay for your child's scheduled time – regardless of whether or not your child is here. Those days and times are reserved for your child (see vacations and absences for exceptions). If you or your child are ill, your payment is still expected on the dates required unless other arrangements have been made. If we close the kidcare due to my own illness or emergency, if paying with cash, payment will be accepted on your first contracted day back to daycare.
If you are a drop-in and you book a spot, you must pay for that spot even if your child does NOT attend that day, unless you give us one week's notice. We hold that spot FOR your child and plan for your child to be here. Payment is due BEFORE care. You must tell me BEFORE what days you need to drop-in and pay for those days. If you need to add more, you need to let us know and pay at drop-off.
Please do not put me in the uncomfortable position of having to ask for payment, and any other fees that may have been added in the week.
Returned Check Fee
We will charge $25 plus any additional costs we may incur for any returned checks. Services will be halted until we receive full payments in cash. In addition we will only accept cash payments from that point forward.
Late Pickup/Early Drop Off Fee
If you (or any of your designated drop off/pick up people) drop off/pick up before/after your contracted times, there will be a late pick up fee of $5.00/15 minutes or any portion thereof and an early drop off fee of $5.00/hour or any portion thereof. This will be strictly enforced and you will be billed for early/late times (to be paid at pick up each day). Repeated late pickups/early drop offs, even if you call me to let me know, can be grounds for termination of services (with all fees due and payable). Please choose your drop off and pick up times carefully, we go by our clock. Examples 1-15 minutes $5; 16-30 minutes $10. This also applies if your contracted drop off time is 8 am even though daycare is open a 7:00am (unless other arrangements have been made).
Late Payment Fee
There is a charge of $10 per day that payment is not received (to include Sat & Sun). If fee isn’t paid by Monday morning, services will be halted until the outstanding balance is paid. Continued late payments will result in termination of services (with all fees due and payable).
We will supply you with a year-end summary of all child care fees, paid for the year for tax purposes. This will be given at the end of each year or when services are terminated.
Hours of Operation
Ms Terri’s Kid Care & Preschool is open Monday-Friday 7 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Our PRESCHOOL hours are 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. If you need extended care before and/or after preschool, those fees will be determined on your contract. If you need hours outside of these, please talk to Ms. Terri. We work on a case by case basis. Weekends are available on a drop in basis with advance notice. The contract you sign will designate your hours (be sure to include fair commute travel time). We require two (2) weeks notice in writing if you need to change your enrollment hours. We reserve the right to terminate our childcare arrangement if your new hours will not work (with all fees due and payable.).
We will be closed for the following holidays with pay: New Years Day, Easter (weekend, Friday through Sunday), Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving weekend and Christmas. If those days land on a weekend the Friday before or Monday after we will be closed.

Each year we will take off two (2) weeks paid vacation. I may take them consecutively or split them up. We also reserve seven (7) days for training and/or personal days/sick days. Those will usually be split up throughout the year and sometimes we do not use them. We will always try to give you two (2) months notice of our plans. You will need to find alternate care or arrange your own vacation during this time. We do our best to work with you on this. (It is my hope that in the near future we will be able to have a substitute here during times of vacation and training days.)
Although very rewarding, child care is a very high stress occupation. In order for me to be the best provider I can be, I will need time to relax with my family, accomplish household tasks, and attend training conferences. Although I will make every attempt to be available each day, there will be occasions when I or another family member is ill and I am unable to provide care. You will be notified as soon as possible of any personal or family illness, funeral, or emergencies. If I am unable to provide care for any of these reasons, I will use one of my personal days.
I do not close on bad weather days. My policy is that if you can make it to me safely, I’m here for you. If you decide that you will not be bringing your child(ren) please let me know ASAP.
Parents are responsible for finding backup care during my absences. When I must be away for a short time, i.e. doctor appt. or dentist appt., backup care will be provided by my substitute caregiver. If I am unable to use my substitute caregiver then it will be necessary for me to close for half the day or the full day. My substitute caregiver is authorized to carry out the terms of this handbook and contract.
I ask that you notify me as soon as possible if you will not be bringing your child or will be arriving late. Your child could be the only one in attendance and I would not like to be kept waiting or I may be able to fill your spot for that day with a drop-in. Please do not call me after the time you are to be here to tell me that you are not coming, unless it was beyond your control.
There are a limited number of spaces available therefore weekly payments are not based on Child’s attendance. NO refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures, parental vacations, or exclusion due to illness, weather and holidays.
Absence due to death in family
In the event that one of our immediate family members dies, ie. parent, sibling, child, etc., we will be CLOSED no less than two days. Those days will be paid days. If it needs to be longer than two days, due to travel or other reasons, the rest of the week will use personal days if we have any left. If we do NOT have any personal or vacation left to use then those days will be unpaid. No backup care will be provided. Please have someone you can call in these times of emergency.
In case of emergency, I will administer the necessary first aid required, an ambulance will be called, and the child will be transported to the hospital. Parents will be notified as soon as possible. If an emergency caregiver cannot be located, you may be requested to pick up your child. All costs involved in emergency treatment and/or the cost of an ambulance is the parents responsibility. The owner/staff and my family of Ms Terri’s Kid Care & Preschool cannot be held liable for any sickness/injury of either parent/guardian or child while on these premises, or while the child is in the company of myself/staff during outings. For minor injuries like bumps and bruises, I will provide first aid and a report will be taken.
I am not responsible to find backup care in case of child care closing and/or sickness of a child. Please have a list of backup providers, friends, or family that you can call in case I am unable to work because I am sick, doctor appointment, emergency, or vacation, etc.
Transportation of Children
Because Ms Terri’s Kid Care & Preschool is a home based child care there are times when it will be necessary for your child(ren) to go with us somewhere. We also go places to play and do extra curricular activities. A signed permission slip for transportation is required at the beginning of childcare services. All transportation is done within the requirements under state law. You must provide a state approved car seat for their use while in our care, if I request it. We no longer offer drop off or pick up from school, until further notice.
When it is time for us to go somewhere the children line up at the door. Their names are entered on the transportation checklist. They enter the van from the side of the driveway away from other cars. Each child is properly buckled into a regulation car seat, boaster seat or seat belt. When we arrive at our destination the children will be unloaded curb side and supervised until inside the building (if dropping off at school). Their name will be checked off the list if they are being dropped off instead of on a field trip with the group. When we return to the home child care the children will be unloaded on the same side of the driveway as they were loaded. The names of the children will be checked off as they get off the van. At no time will a child be left unattended by an adult while in the van, or otherwise. If there is a breakdown and we are not able to transport in the vehicle we left in we will phone back up and transport the children back to the kid care home or contact parents to pick up their children at the location we are at, depending on the situation.
Weekend and Evening Care
Because Ms. Terri’s Kid Care & Preschool is a home based child care our weekends and evenings, although opened to providing care for your child(ren) occasionally, we do have some family type activities that your children will be here for. On Sunday mornings/afternoons and Wednesday evenings we attend activities at First Baptist Church Arlington, on Center and Border. It is very important to us to maintain our growth at church and enrich our children’s lives with faith based activities. If this is something that you do not want your children to participate in then you will be required to find other care at that time.
I may take candid pictures of the children at various times during the day and/or on field trips to use for craft projects, newsletters, and/or decorating and/or for the website.
We will celebrate Christmas, Halloween, Easter, birthdays etc… with parties. If you do not want your child present for these parties/celebrations, please make alternate plans.
Communication With Parents
We send home a quarterly newsletter, we have our online newsletter and we have a Private FB Group that ONLY current parents and family members can be in. I will post updates, need-to-know information, party info, sick notices, vacation/closed dates, etc. on one or more of those. I will ONLY be sending texts when it is about YOUR child; when we need something for them, when there is an issue with illness, injury or behavior. I will send pictures when I am able. But you can feel free to grab any pictures of your child that I post in the private FB group. I may not always have time to stop and send them. I do my best to post in that private group everything that parents need to know. PLEASE, set your notifications for that page so you won't miss any of my posts. This is the EASIEST and QUICKEST way for me to let ALL parents know something.
Health and Safety Matters
Hand washing – Hands will be washed before and after meals, after bathroom use, after nose blowing and wiping and after handling an ill child.
Toys and Equipment – Toys will be sterilized daily or as needed with the recommended bleach solution.
Fire/Tornado Drills – Practice drills will be conducted quarterly and recorded.
SYMPTOMS REQUIRING REMOVAL OF CHILD FROM CHILDCARE (no exceptions)
Please do not bring your child if he/she is sick; the health and well being of all of the children here are of the utmost importance to me. It is for the protection of the children that I must insist on a strict adherence to my illness policy. Please read it carefully.
Communicable Diseases: Not permitted by law in childcare. Some of these illnesses are, but not limited to: Infectious Conjunctivitis (pink eye), Impetigo, Hepatitis A, Scabies, Ringworm, Infectious Diarrhea, Chicken Pox, Scarlet Fever, Lice, Strep Throat. If your child is thought to have a communicable disease, you will be notified and asked to pick him/her up. Your child will be accepted back into care when no longer contagious and must have a doctors note saying so. All other parents will be notified of possibility of a communicable disease and what symptoms to watch for.
Fever: Not Permitted. A child needs to be fever free for a minimum of 24 hours before returning to childcare; that means the child is fever free without the aid of any fever reducing substance. Administering Tylenol to reduce your child's fever so that you can bring him/her is grounds for termination. (A) Oral temperature above 101 degrees and accompanied by behavior changes or other signs or symptoms of illness; (B) Rectal temperature above 102 degrees and accompanied by behavior changes or other signs or symptoms of illness; (C) Armpit temperature above 100 degrees and accompanied by behavior changes or other signs or symptoms of illness; (D) Symptoms and signs of possible severe illness, such as lethargy, abnormal breathing, uncontrolled diarrhea, two or more vomiting episodes in 24 hours, rash with fever, mouth sores with drooling, wheezing, behavior changes, or other signs that the child may be severely ill; and (4) A health-care professional has diagnosed the child with a communicable disease, and the child does not have medical documentation to indicate that the child is no longer contagious.
Diarrhea: Not Permitted. Children may return to care 24 hours after beginning an antibiotic or needs to be diarrhea free for a minimum of 24 hours. Infants and toddlers with fevers and/or diarrhea pertaining to teething will only be accepted into care with a doctor’s note stating that these symptoms are due to teething.
VOMITING: Not Permitted. If your child vomits while at Daycare, you will be expected to come within THE HOUR to pick your child up. The child must stay home until 24 hours have passed with NO VOMITING EPISODES.
Running Nose: Your child may be brought to daycare if he/she has a common cold (slight occasional cough, clear runny nose, occasional sneezing) Discharge of any color other than clear is not acceptable in child care. A constant runny nose, which lasts longer than a week and you suspect it may be due to allergies, I will require you to bring a doctors note stating the same.
Rashes: Not Permitted. Any rash other than diaper rash must accompany the child to child care with a note from the doctor stating it is not contagious.
Runny and/or Crusty Eyes: Not Permitted. Watery, matted, and/or red/pink eyes are not acceptable in child care under any circumstances.
Excessive Crankiness: If your child is irritable, excessively whining or crying wants to be constantly held, or requires more attention than I can provide without jeopardizing the health, safety, or well being of the other children in my care, you must keep your child home regardless of the presence of other symptoms. If this occurs during child care hours, you will be called to come pick up your child.
Lice: Not permitted back to childcare until after the second hair treatment.
24 Hour Rule: Your child must be free from any of the above symptoms for a minimum of 24 hours before you can return to childcare. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you arrive and tell me your Childs fever broke at noon the previous day, you will be asked to leave.
Please take the rules seriously. It is always best to call me and ask if you are unsure whether or not you may bring your child. It is always best for you to have a back up plan available to you in the event your child is ill and you cannot miss work. Any infractions of the above rules and you will be called at work or school to come and pick up your child. Repeated calls to have you return here to pick up your child may result in termination (with all fees due and payable). If someone in my family has any of the above symptoms, I will call you the previous evening, or as soon as I am aware of the situation, so that you may determine whether or not you want your child exposed to such symptoms. I will ask you to make other arrangements if I feel the illness in my family will hinder the quality of care I give your child.
There are certain house rules that all children will be taught to follow. This is for the safety and well being of everyone. In addition, although I realize that I must expect a certain amount of wear and tear where children are concerned; I do not want my home demolished.
No running, jumping, or screaming inside the house.
No hitting, pushing, biting, grabbing, kicking, spitting, pinching.
No roughhousing, climbing, sitting on, pulling, or lifting/carrying other children.
Children are not allowed to walk around with food, cups, or bottles or have food in playroom at any time.
No standing or climbing on toys, chairs, tables, or furniture.
No mistreatment of toys – i.e. standing on, throwing, bashing, hitting with. Parents will be responsible for the cost to replace toy if this happens.
No going out the door anytime without an adult.
No name calling, teasing, swearing, bad language including shut up, or potty talk.
No gum allowed.
No guns or violent play allowed.
No willful destruction of property, parents will be responsible for the cost to replace.
Rules For Parents
No food, drink, or gum brought into house for your child unless pre-arranged ahead of time. It is against the food program rules to bring your own food in. Please have them eat it in the car before you bring them to the door. (Special treats must be enough to share with everyone. Please consult Ms. Terri before hand.)
No shoes in the house beyond the immediate doorway IF it is raining or snowing outside.
No smoking on or in front of premises. We do not want the remains to be in the driveway where the children often play.
Parents are expected to read and understand the rules for children and enforce those rules while they are present. Please respect our rules and our property and teach your children to do so, as well. The rules are in place to protect the children and the property.
Behavior Management & Discipline
The children are explained the rules of child care frequently, so that they know the guidelines. Once a child understands the rules and disobeys them, hurts others, or property, the following techniques will be used:
1.Positive Reinforcement: The child will be encouraged when he/she is demonstrating acceptable behavior.
2.Redirection: The child is redirected to another activity and given an opportunity to try again at another time.
3.Time Out: The child is separated from the group for a regulated period of time. This is used only when child is exhibiting a temper tantrum type behavior or hurting self, others, or property. When child shows that he/she is ready to demonstrate acceptable behavior, they are encouraged to join the rest of the group and try again.
4.Last Resort: When a child's behavior is continually upsetting or dangerous to others, themselves, or myself a call will be placed to the parents for the child to be picked up. If problems persist and cannot be resolved, this can be a cause for termination of care (with all fees due and payable).
Care can be terminated with 2 weeks written notice. No other notice will be accepted. The full 2 weeks pay will be due at time of notice. If parent wishes to terminate this agreement without a 2 weeks notice, he/she agrees to pay the 2 weeks fee at time of notification. Termination notices will not be accepted while the provider or the parent is on vacation.
Ms Terri’s Kid Care & Preschool reserves the right to terminate for the following reasons (but not limited to):
Lack of compliance with handbook policies
Failure to pay or pay on time
Failure to complete required forms
Lack of parental cooperation
False information given by parent either verbally or in writing
Consistent late pickups/early drop offs disrupting our routine
Failure of child to adjust to the child care after a reasonable amount of time
Physical or verbal; abuse of any person, animals, or property
My inability to meet the child's needs
Serious illness of child or provider
I reserve the right to give written notice of immediate termination where there are extreme circumstances that affect the well being of myself or other children in attendance (with all fees due and payable). Absences of more than one day without notification can result in an automatic withdrawal (with all fees due and payable). Re-admittance, if accepted, will include all back pay including late fees. If parent/guardian breeches the contract he/she will be liable for all collection, attorney, court, any/and all costs involved in the breech. I will also give 2 weeks notice if the child is to be terminated from care (with all fees due and payable).
I prefer that children do not bring toys from home unless it is something that can be shared with all the children (except for infants). If toys are brought, please note they may be put away if they cause problems among the children. All personal items must be clearly marked with child(ren)s name. I take no responsibility for lost, stolen, or broken toys/videos brought from home. Should the child(ren) deliberately destroy my toys or other property through misuse or willfulness, the parent will be required to replace it. If your child needs a special toy or item for sleeping, it will be put away until naptime.
Children should arrive dressed for play! Having fun includes outdoor activities and can include messy activities, so please make sure your child is dressed appropriately. Please do not expect me to constantly change your child's clothing from ‘nice’ clothes to ‘play’ clothes. A backpack with a change of clothes is required in case it is needed.
Parents are responsible for supplying disposable diapers/pull-ups, wipes, bottles, sipper cups, formula and/or baby food, nap mat and blanket (children 1 yrs and over), weather & play appropriate change of clothes (extra changes of clothes during potty training), sunscreen, bug spray, and any other necessary items (powder, ointment, etc). All supplies need to be marked with child(ren)s name.
Potty training is easiest when things are the same at home and at school. We are more than willing to work on potty training with your child here if you are working with them full time at home.
Potty Training Policies
These potty training guidelines will help us work together to minimize frustration and maximize success for your child:
Potty Training needs to be started at home and continue at home not just at school. If we are not working together it will not happen.
Please dress your child in loose clothing that they are able to pull off and on by themselves. Avoid anything difficult for them to do on their own.
Do not send your child to school in cloth underwear until they have been going dry for at least a whole weekend, if not a whole week.
Healthy meals and snacks are served daily and are included in your rate. All baby foods, special diets food, and formulas are supplied by the parents/guardians. You are responsible for feeding your child if he/she will arrive at child care after the beginning/end of a mealtime, even if it’s by a couple of minutes. Infants are always fed on demand. Breakfast, lunch and snack are served daily. If a child refuses to eat their meal, there will be no food served until the next designated meal/snack time. Please do not send food (half eaten breakfasts, candy, gum, soda, etc) with the children, they will be disposed of. All containers of baby food or bottles must be labeled with child(ren)s name and any unused portions of bottles or baby food will be given back to you or discarded.
If a child has a particular dieting need, substantiated by medical evaluation, I must be informed and given a doctors note. Substitute meals or snacks may then be brought in from home and is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to provide.
If a child requires medicine while in my care a permission slip must be filled out and it must be in the original container. That includes any kind of medicine for teething. If you do not provide me with a permission slip I cannot give it to your child. If at all possible, please give children medicine at home. I have other things to do and at times might not remember because of the other children and the activities we are doing.
My main goal at Ms. Terri’s Kid Care & Preschool is to provide a variety of fun learning experiences for all of the children. I will be using a variety of activities like free play, reading, arts & crafts, music/singing, dancing, pretend play, puzzles, building and board games. I like to play music throughout the day while we play. Some of the music we will be listening to are: children’s songs, bible songs, holiday music, and classical. TV Viewing – I allow TV viewing of educational, Christian, and age appropriate video/shows. I do not use it as a babysitter. We will have a movie that goes along with our theme for the week and/or day. Nap/Rest Time-All children under the age of 6 are to take a nap. No child is forced to sleep, however they must remain quiet and on their nap mat.
We have two dogs. They are inside dogs. They very loving animals and the kids love them. Children may have contact with them at times and we will always wash our hands afterwards.
In the event of an emergency we have several plans to accommodate each event.
Tornado We will move into the hall with all doors shut. There are no windows. We have a flashlight in case the lights go out. We will have toys to keep the kids attention occupied on something other than the storm. I will take my book with me that contains the children’s information and emergency numbers in them. I will contact the parents after we are in a safe place to let them know what we are doing. Once the warning is over we will return to normal activities.
Fire (or other household emergency that requires us to leave the home) We will quietly form a line at the door and walk across the street to await the fire department and there ok to return to the home. I will contact the parents to pick up their children as soon as possible (if it appears that we will not be able to safely return to the home) and inform them of what is going on. In the event there is only one adult and more than two infants we will put the children in a port a crib and roll it out to the curb so we may get all the children out of the home in a safe and timely manner. Communicable disease outbreak or other medical emergency In the event that we discover the outbreak of a communicable disease all parents will be informed, as well as the TDFPS as soon as we know that is what it is. In case of a medical emergency, first 911 will be contacted. If there is an older child or another adult present then they will help contact the parents and help keep other children calm and playing quietly. We will do whatever instructed until help arrives.
Intruder If an intruder should enter our home we will act in a way that is non-threatening so as not to put the children or ourselves in more danger. We will not act in any way aggressive or argumentative. Once that person leaves the authorities will be notified, as well as the parents. As this would be a traumatic experience the parents would be asked to pick up their children and talk to them about what happened to relieve the child’s stress and fear.
In whatever emergency that should arise the proper authorities and the parents will always be informed as soon as possible. We want to take every precaution so that none of these things do happen but in the even they do it is always best to be prepared. A lot of our rules are in place to prevent many of these things from happening and/or getting out of control. Thank you for working with us to keep your kids safe.

Reporting Child Abuse
I am required by law to report any signs of child abuse. If you suspect a child is being abused or neglected, call 1-800-252-5400 to make a report.
I take great pride in providing a safe, healthy, and loving home for you to bring your child(ren) to each and every day. Your child(ren)s growth and happiness is very important to me, so please always feel free to discuss any questions or concerns with me. Open communication between parents and the daycare provider are so important for the needs of the children. If a lengthy conference is needed, a time that is convenient for both of us will be scheduled, as other children still need my attention during caring hours.
